Operations and Programs Associate
Sarah Cockey is an Operations & Programs Associate at the Fund for Peace. Prior to joining the Fund for Peace, Sarah interned at the International Rescue Committee, worked as a Research Assistant at American University, and taught primary education in Cairo, Egypt. She graduated from Florida State University with a B.Sc. in International Affairs & Political Science, and holds a M.A. in International Peace & Conflict Resolution from the School of International Service at American University. She is also a trained community mediator with Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County, holds a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and has completed Eastern Mennonite University’s Strategies for Trauma Awareness (STAR) Training.
