Research Assistant
 
Rebecca is a current Rotary Peace Fellow pursuing her MA in Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University in Sweden. Before moving to Uppsala she was a Youth and Gender Mainstreaming Officer with the United Nations in Lesotho, and prior to that spent two years at the Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh. She has also worked with non-governmental organizations in India, Nepal, and Cambodia. Rebecca is interested in the creation and implementation of risk assessment and conflict monitoring tools, and how human security and economic development are monitored outside of the academic sphere.
Rebecca is from Australia where she was born and raised in Geelong, Victoria, before moving to Rockhampton, Queensland. She has a BA in Political Science and English from the Australian National University in Canberra.
