Research Assistant

Olivia Kramer is in her final year of undergraduate studies at Duke University where she majors in Political Science with a thematic concentration in Security, Peace, and Conflict. A 2020 SOL Fellow in the Hart Leadership Program at Duke University, Olivia has been recognized for her commitment to the implementation of social and political change. Olivia spent the fall of her junior year studying in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she interned with Equipo ELA, a feminist NGO committed to advancing women’s rights and political representation throughout Latin America. Particularly interested in refugee advocacy, Olivia has also interned for the Tent Partnership for Refugees on the Strategic Initiatives team. There she worked on projects mobilizing the global business community in support of refugees. She has also spent time volunteering in the Legal Services office of Church World Service, a refugee resettlement agency. Upon her graduation in May 2021, she is looking to pursue graduate studies related to gender, peace, and security.
