John is the Data Science and Technology Associate at the Fund for Peace. In addition to programmatic responsibilities, he leads the development of dashboards and provides technical support to Several of FFP’s early warning and response, resilience, and state fragility programs. John has experience in data analysis and research that spans foreign policy, healthcare, and economics. Prior to joining FFP, John interned for Senator Merkley’s foreign policy team, where he supported the Senator’s work on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and discovered his interest in preventing conflict and genocide. Before that, he worked at Providence in Clinical Analytics, where he leveraged data analysis for healthcare value improvement in the hospital setting. He graduated from Duke University with a degree in economics and global health. John was motivated to join the Fund for Peace because he is passionate about building creative solutions for the world’s most challenging problems.
