Research Assistant
 
Katarina Hyatt recently completed her Master’s in Human Rights at the London School of Economics where she wrote her dissertation on the position of private military companies under international law. During her studies at Mount Holyoke College, Katarina double majored in International Relations and History, concentrating on International Ethics and European history respectively. Before joining Fund for Peace, Katarina interned for Senator Elizabeth Warren, at the immigration law office of Joseph E. Ching, and with the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum. Katarina has spent much of her time volunteering with refugees. Katarina has a particularly developed interest in the nexus of security and development, refugees, human trafficking, and armed conflicts.
