Charles Fiertz is a Programs Associate at the Fund for Peace. He primarily supports FFP’s conflict early warning and analysis programs, including the Fragile States Index, as well as doing data coding and analysis for the Reacting to Early Warning and Response Data (REWARD) program. Prior to joining the Fund for Peace, Charles worked at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs as a Research Intern and as a Policy & Analysis Intern at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions in Washington, DC. He also worked as a Microfinance Associate with a non-profit in Rajasthan, India and was an intern at the Fund for Peace in 2014.

Charles graduated summa cum laude from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with BAs in Public Policy Studies and Economics, and holds an MPP from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.
