Amanda Quinn is a Programs Associate at the Fund for Peace. She works on FFP’s conflict early warning programs, such as the Reacting to Early Warning and Response Data (REWARD) program doing data coding and analysis. Prior to joining the Fund for Peace, Amanda worked for the U.S. State Department in St. Petersburg as a Public Affairs Intern, focusing on media outreach and community engagement. She has also held a position as a Research Technician at the Library of Congress, archiving foreign legal gazettes. Additionally, Amanda worked as a Research Intern at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, working on data coding for the Global Terrorism Database. As a part of the Global Terrorism Database team, Amanda contributed to an open-source database that includes information on more than 140,000 terrorist events around the world. Amanda holds B.A.s in Global Studies and Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
